Wild Duck Marina on Lake Brownwood in Brown County

The Wild Duck Marina is located near the dam of beautiful Lake Brownwood on some of the deepest water on the lake. The marina has been very well planned out with a nautical character and appeal to create a relaxing and entertaining atmosphere for lake enthusiasts. The restaurant area is 40 x 60 with a grill, table area for inside dining, and shop for lake gift items and supplies. These slips have hydro boost lifts in them for ease of operation. A covered fish house with boat slips for members to use is a unique addition to the marina. Memberships are sold for a year to allow the member and/or family (depending on type of membership) to fish in the covered and lighted area as well as off any of the docks along the marina.

Upstairs above the restaurant and shop area a large office area provides great space for manager and workers to utilize for a command center for day to day operations of the marina. The marina features a backup solar system that provides power for day to day use and backfeeds into the grid. A state of the art video surveillance system makes it easy to monitor the premises at all times. Alongside the restaurant area there are several ice storage containers, a live bait room, and storage room for supplies.


A cool beer garden beside the marina restaurant provides a venue for concerts, outdoor dining and gatherings with family and friends. The beer garden has awesome, colorful string lighting, firepit, dance area, stage area for bands, tables and chairs, bathrooms, a large grassy area, and lighted trek walkways along the lake. This is one of the prettiest and most peaceful views anywhere on the lake. In the evenings and early mornings the tranquility of the lake water is relaxing and soothing.

Along with the marina is a very nice 4/2 doublewide for rental purposes or could serve as a managers home. The home is adjacent to the marina but far enough away for privacy for guests.

A two story apartment building that has recently been update and remodeled can be purchased separately. The apartment building has 3 one bedroom apartments on the first floor and 2 two bedroom apartments on the second floor. All have kitchens and bathrooms and can be rented daily or on a more permanent basis. There also is a two bedroom one bath brick house that can be purchased separately.
